Are you still early in the process and looking for some big-picture feedback? This service is for diagnosing plot holes, pacing issues, character development, style, and story structure of your work. This includes an annotated copy of your manuscript and a detailed editorial letter with an overall assessment and suggestions for improvement. Being an Indie author myself, I know how scary the publishing world is especially if you are independently publishing. I will also incorporate any suggestions that may help you moving forward.

Copy Editing

Are you ready for the final step in your journey of edits? This service is for grammar, spelling, punctuation, inconsistencies, and cleaning up your sentences to make your story flow as smoothly as possible.

Proofreading

Are you ready to fine-tune your manuscript before publication? This is for one final pass to catch typos, formatting errors, and any remaining issues from a previous copy edit to perfect the overall appearance of your text.

I offer a free sample edit to all potential clients - you deserve an editor who gets your book, and understands the message you are trying to deliver. This gives you an opportunity to see my editing style to ensure you are 100% satisfied. If we're a good match, I'll create a custom quote to fit the needs of your project. ​Editorial contacts are available upon request. I do require payment upfront for orders under $300 USD and a 50% deposit for orders over $300 with the remaining balance due upon completion. A 50% deposit is required at time of booking, which is refundable up to 30 days before the project's start date. With that being said, I have booking slots open starting November 1st. ​

​I accept payment by Venmo or PayPal payments (please note a small service fee is added to quotes for any author who prefers to use PayPal). All of my editorial rates are within industry standards, and I'm passionate about making my services as accessible as possible. I offer flexible rates as well as payment plans.
